ISO14001 Environmental Management System

Since 2005, Beigua Park Authority has an Environmental Management System regarding the following activities:

• maintenance and improvement of the territory;
• safeguard of biodiversity;
• safeguard of landscape heritage;
• research activities and scientific education;
• education to sustainable development;
• promotion of tourism and eco-compatible production activities
• governance and cooperation with local stakeholders.

The Park Authority is committed in pollution prevention, continuous improvement of its environmental performances and respecting all the pertinent legal requirements; this is declared in the Environmental Policy approved by the Council on September 23^th 2021.

To pursue environmental objectives on a large scale and share good practices, the Park Authority established a Technical Service for the Municipalities belonging to the protected area and to the whole District to ensure the efficiency of their Environmental Management Systems and to promote projects aimed for the sustainable development of the area.
