Beigua Park Territorial Service Center (CST)

In the renovated historical building of Palazzo Gervino - where you will find Beigua Geopark Visitor Center and an Information and Tourist Welcome Office - the new Territorial Service Center (CST) of Alta Via dei Monti Liguri was inaugurated in May. The CST, whose creation was established within the Regional Project Alta Via dei Monti Liguri through ministerial and regional funds and a strong collaboration between the Environment and Tourism Departments of Regione Liguria, is directly managed by the Park Authority. Discovering the Park Nature

From high-mountain itineraries facing unforgettable panoramas to trails leading to the discovery of thick beech, chestnut tree, and downy oak forests, Beigua Park, the largest protected area of Liguria, is the ideal destination to walk outdoors.
Since 2005 the territory of Beigua has been recognized by UNESCO European and World Geopark.
In the area there is a thick hiking network developing for about 500 km and giving the opportunity to admire and appreciate the environmental and historical-cultural beauties of the area. Going along the paths of the Park on both slopes (Tyrrheanian and Po Plain slope) or along the ridge characterized by Alta Via dei Monti Liguri - following the central axis of the protected area - is like glancing through a wonderful book where tales of man and nature are told and represented.
In order to make the hikes throughout the protected areas more appealing, the Park Authority has created several equipped thematic trails ("nature trails") supported by panels and informative material which give the visitor the opportunity to appreciate some of the naturalistic, historical, and cultural features which can be seen along the way.
Within the protected area and in the surrounding territory there are accommodation structures, mountain huts and unattended shelters for long stays, in order to better appreciate the path network of the Park.
