From the bridge on the Rio Sbruggia, in Sassello (386m), follow the path signed by two yellow triangles. Among chestnut tree woods and mixed woods of hornbeam, hazelnut, and flowering ash, you follow first the slopes of Cima Galletto, Monte Tremmo, and Bric del Luvetto, and then the Costa La Pra to reach the spectacular beech trees of Colle Bergnon. A uphill path - sometimes tiring - leads to Casa della Bandita (905m), and then it crosses the Costa del Giancardo and connects to the Alta Via. A short walk leads to the summit of Monte Beigua (1,287m). You can go back by following the same itinerary or by choosing alternative routes.
