A territory with a geological heritage protected by UNESCO. The Beigua territory, Liguria's widest nature protected area, shows itself with this precious recognition. The Beigua Park was acknowledged as international "Geopark" in March 2005, within the European Geoparks Network and the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network.
